About Us

It has a very long history from 1852. It was looked after from Midnapore. In 1882 Fathers started residing in Jhargram Sub-Division at Jualbhanga. Fr. Van Severin was the last resident priest at Jhargram until he moved to Kharagpur in 1904. Since then Jhargram was taken care by priests from Kharagpur. On 1″ January 2001 Fr Tapan was posted at Jhargram as a resident priest followed by Fr. Kuriakose Thanickel George.

Jhargram was declared a district on 04′ April’ 2017 by the honourable Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee and there was a need for a good English Medium in the district head quarters. At the request of civil administration and the English medium education loving people of Jhargram approached the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Calcutta which had a Bengali Medium School managed by the D. S. A Sisters.

In response to the above request and the Archdiocese felt that it was a genuine need and Fr. Kuriakose who was here sometime back and he being an experienced educationalist and served as Principal in Archdiocese’s city Schools he was assigned to execute the project of Holy Trinity School (English Medium) from the year 2019-2020.

AIM & GOAL

Our School aims at providing quality education for the all- round development of a student so that at the end of reaching the Xth standard, he/she becomes a complete man/women, adept and presenting himself/herself in the right mould before the outside world instilling proper spiritual, intellectual and cultural aspect in the development of one’s person is our prime objective, in keeping with our objective, students of our School are exposed to many extra — curricular activities, and also orientation programmes, which help to build the student’s personality in its entirety.
